Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of Ashland Lake Gun Club (ALGC). While we are a member only club, we welcome non-members to most of our shoots. Please check our Club Calendar online, at www.ashlandlakegunclub.org/calendar. Member only shoots are noted as such. Members have the added benefit of being able to come to the club and shoot at their leisure, year-round. Members are also able to bring their friends and family with them, at no additional cost.
If you wish to become a member you will need to be sponsored /referred by a current club member, who will be required to sign your application. One way to meet a sponsor is by attending our public shoots, which cover a variety of shooting disciplines. While some activities may have four or five shooters, other events have seen 100+ in attendance! Again, be sure to check the club calendar for dates. Come shoot, have fun, meet members, and ask someone to sponsor you! It is that easy.
We are a 100% NRA club, and membership in the organization is a requirement of application, as well as ongoing annual renewals, in accordance with club bylaws.
All prospective new members must attend a trustee's meeting to introduce themselves to the board of trustees and have their application for membership considered and voted on. Our trustees’ meetings are held at The American Legion Post 91 in Berea Ohio. Each meetings starts promptly at 6:30 pm, and you can expect to stay for approximately the first 30 minutes, during which time applicants are considered. Your sponsor must be present for your application to be considered. All members are welcome and encouraged to stay for the full meeting to learn more about the club. Please be there 15-20 minutes early so your application documents can be reviewed by the membership director. Please notify the membership director of your intention to be present, prior to the meeting, by emailing ALGC.members@gmail.com.
Applicants will need to bring the following: complete and accurate application documents; a copy of your driver's license and CCW license, if issued; proof of current NRA membership; a check or cash for the full amount of application and first year membership fees (outlined below).

All members are required to participate in club work parties, giving of their time and talents to support club activities or to help maintain and improve the club facilities.
